Fine decor and the breakfasts were heavenly-those chocolate croissants! Minor issue with no lift, but the staff were super helpful. Definitely planning to return on my next trip to Cape Town!

Had a bit of a mix-up with the room assignment—what was promised as a lovely room with a mountain view turned out to be a noisy room facing the road instead. On top of that, the telephone didn’t work, and despite a message I sent about it during our stay, no follow-up came. Although the bedding suited a short stay, bigger pillows and an extra blanket would’ve been a nice comfort touch.

Charming decor caught my eye right away. The breakfast spread wowed me, especially those chocolate croissants. Each morning offered homemade goodies and plenty of options. Room was chic and felt cozy, with a fantastic personal terrace that had views of Lion's Head. I appreciated the daily cleaning service too. However, I did find the room a bit cramped for our luggage and the bathroom was tight. A soundproof lounge area for evening relaxation would have been a nice touch. Despite minor setbacks, the overall stay was enjoyable.

I really loved the cozy vibe of this boutique hotel after spending days exploring the nearby parks and iconic landmarks, like the vibrant Bo-Kaap Museum just a 20-minute stroll away and the scenic views from Signal Hill, which was only a short drive away, making my weekend in Cape Town so enjoyable.

Oh my goodness, the breakfasts at Pineapple House were simply out of this world! Every morning felt like a feast, with homemade goodies and an array of choices to start the day right. Plus, the decor was gorgeous, adorned with stunning artwork that transformed the space into a visual treat.
While the location was decent, it felt a bit far from the main action, requiring a few blocks to stroll to the trendier spots. And let’s not forget the bathroom timer light—plunged into darkness mid-shower!
